Greetings.....I would like to introduce myself. I am Duvexy. And, I would like to tell you a little more about myself. Come in if you dare. Don't proceed if you don't have a sense of humor.
What is Pallbearer?..... Pallbearer is a distribution that was created years ago by a friend of mine who is a distributor of METAL music of the different sorts. He, on the other hand introduced me to black metal. He made me a cassette tape with no artists names or titles. I had an open mind plus he was cute and I listened to it. That was three years ago. He has been my best friend for three years now and has taught me the ways of black metal and eventually with time I picked up the black arts, which I had always had deep down inside in my soul.
There I is!!!! It's fake, but it's still me inside. Let me show you the real me.
One of the bands I was introduced to was Dimmu Borgir, Hungarian word for the black castle. It is kind of like the Devil's Triangle. I got hooked on this music over a short period of time. Next thing I knew I was running down to the bank trying to make sure I got to Pallbearer first. I wanted an original release from Europe. And, then I was given old zines dating back to 1990 and 1991. I learned through the zines about the people in the bands and what it felt like to be a devoted, striving musician trying to make it. And, there are loyal ones who stay underground and I respect their devotion and love for their music.

I was promoting black metal in a country bar that played 60's and 70's rock. I got an idea to teach alot of people about the music by sneaking it into the jukebox in a bar. The next thing I knew, the old people left and the young people started coming into the bar. They started playing the music. I would play it first and over a period of time people started picking it up. Then came the bands, who eventually wanted to play in this bar. And, through my efforts they did. Alot of good bands just for exposure.
Hammerfall is in the jukebox, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Traces of Death 3, the Beauty in Darkness Compilation and various others. I was just a bartender with little or no money. Now, I've grown up a little; unlike others, to promote and distribute the music via computer.
I love metal and I have learned alot of information and history through old zines, Lord of Chaos books, Anton Lavey books and of course my main person who introduced me to metal music...The founding father of Pallbearer who started the distribution. Now, we help each other out with the distribution. We are both going to school and promoting this business.
After 3 years my favotite band is Marduk.
